SOC Blogger's Challenge: Silver and Gold

Hey everyone! Cheryl here with this week's blogger challenge! Due to computer issues, I am posting this a day later than usual, but I'm excited to share with you today! As mentioned last week, it's the last one for 2014...still hard to believe this year is almost over! But this week will yield lots of crafty fun! This week's theme is:

**Silver and Gold**

Christmas is in just a few weeks, and some of you have already decked your home in festive colors. In many cases, silver and/or gold are part of that holiday color palette! So the challenge is to use it (together, or as an accent to any color combination) to create cards, pages, altered and/or mixed media projects this week! It's a great way to share those last minute Christmas cards and creative gifts or even get a head start on creating for New Years!

But before we jump to 2015, there's still lots to share as we look back on projects from the last few weeks! First, here's a couple of projects from Thanksgiving and "The Power of Words" challenges:

Danita shared this beautiful card over in the Blogger Challenge forum! I love the embossing!
Be sure to visit her blog to see a tutorial of how she put it together!

Treva used the "Power of Words" to inspire this pretty tag!
Love the use of distress ink, and that cute bird cage!

As I've mentioned before, the "Anything Goes" challenges continue to be a favorite with our bloggers! Check out these creations:

Mary Joyce made this dazzling card last week! She even drew the image featured here!

Michele actually made this tag for our "Taste of the Orient" theme earlier this year, but I couldn't go without posting it! Love it!

Finally, Felisa (The ScrapinDiva) shared some of her beautiful Christmas cards during last week's challenge! Be sure to drop by and see the rest of the cards from this post!

Thanks ladies for participating in the Bloggers Challenges the last few weeks! I hope all of you will join us for this week's "Silver and Gold" challenge! This one is going to be good--so you don't want to miss it! Until then, Take care and Happy Crafting!
